Job Description:
About the Role we are looking for a skilled and safety conscious Easer L Operator to join our clients underground mining team in the Democratic Republic of the Congo The successful candidate will be responsible for operating the Epiroc Easer L machine to drill long upward or downward vertical holes for slot raises in development and production areas Key Responsibilities Operate the Epiroc Easer L drilling machine to drill raise bore holes in accordance with mine plans and schedules Set up and align the machine safely and accurately to ensure drilling precision Perform pre start inspections and basic maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance Record drilling data and report any deviations or equipment issues Collaborate with engineers supervisors and ground control teams to ensure efficient and safe operations Follow all mine site safety protocols and ensure work area is kept clean and hazard free Requirements Proven experience operating the Epiroc Easer L or similar raise bore drilling equipment Minimum 3 years experience in underground mining operations Strong understanding of long hole drilling ground support and safety procedures Ability to interpret drilling plans and work independently with minimal supervision Physically fit and capable of working in challenging underground environments
