About the Role we are currently recruiting an experienced and safety oriented Jumbo Operator to join our clients underground mining team in the Democratic Republic of the Congo The successful candidate will be responsible for the operation of single or twin boom Jumbo drilling rigs for face drilling in mine development Key Responsibilities Operate Jumbo drill rigs safely and efficiently to complete face drilling roof support and installation of ground support bolts Read and interpret mine plans drill patterns and layouts accurately Ensure precise alignment hole depth and spacing to engineering specifications Perform daily equipment checks routine maintenance and report faults to minimize downtime Work closely with mine development teams engineers and supervisors to maintain productivity and safety Maintain a clean and safe work environment underground Record and report drilling performance and any deviations Requirements Minimum 3 years experience operating Jumbo drills in an underground mining environment Experience with Atlas Copco Sandvik or similar Jumbo drill rigs Strong understanding of underground development practices and ground control Ability to read technical plans layouts and drilling patterns Physically fit and capable of working in confined and demanding underground conditions
