Job Description:
Operate heavy underground mining equipment such as loaders haul trucks drills and other machinery as required Perform daily equipment checks troubleshooting and minor maintenance to ensure optimal performance Work independently to execute mining tasks including mucking hauling drilling and ground support Maintain accurate records of equipment usage maintenance and production performance Ensure compliance with all safety environmental and operational protocols Communicate effectively with the team supervisors and maintenance staff to ensure smooth operations Report any safety hazards equipment failures or operational issues promptly Requirements Minimum 3 years of experience as a solo operator in underground mining operations Proficient in operating a variety of underground mining equipment Strong understanding of mining processes safety standards and equipment maintenance Ability to work independently and make decisions in a high pressure environment Physically fit and capable of working in confined and challenging underground conditions Excellent communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
